Last year’s beaten finalist GC Foster College will meet Portmore Pines in the final of the Wray and Nephew Portmore Cricket Association T20 League after both teams secured last 4 victories on Sunday.
GC Foster, through an unbeaten half century from Derval Green, defeated Ken’s Wildflower by 8 wickets.
Kens batted first and posted 116-9 from their allotted 20 overs, as Odane Vassell took 4-17, while there were 2 wickets each for Shawn Headlam and Terrence West.
In response, GC Foster romped to victory after 17 overs, scoring 117-2 with Green on 83 and Ransford Henry with him on 21.
In the other semi-final, Portmore Pines made 132-4 from their 20 overs with Damion Bryce top scoring with 58 and Pete Salmon unbeaten on 33.
In response, their opponent, Waterford, was skittled out for 63, as Salmon grabbed 4-13 and Andrew Bryce 3-12.
