Delmar Graham, a second year student in the Bachelor of Teacher Training programme at the G.C. Foster College recently won the Junior Mr. Jamaica Bodybuilding title. The competition, held in June of this year saw competitors from all over Jamaica vying for the coveted title. Delmar said: “I knew I would have won because I was the defending champion and I trained very hard prior to this competition”. Delmar who was also among the top bodybuilders last year was placed fourth in the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was not able to make it to the Caribbean championships this year because of financial constraints due to lack of sponsorship. He said, “I know I would have improved my fourth place position from last year due to the experience I gained from past competitions and physiques of the athletes who participated this year, is nowhere compared to mine. I will be resuming training shortly for the up-coming season”.
G.C. Foster College of Physical Education & sport congratulates Delmar Graham for a stellar performance.
